there was global outrage about the family separation policy to punish illegal immigrants in the US

In Switzerland – which is proud of its humanitarian tradition – the same cruel policy of family separation was used to punish families just for being poor and in slut-shaming campaigns against young unmarried mothers and divorced mothers

there were no tapes of  weeping kids or weeping parents published of these human rights violations in Switzerland
